It’s been eight months since opposition. I always find it interesting how long Mars seems to hang around in the Western evening sky.
Kind of like passing a moving car in the next lane. It takes longer than a car that is not moving. It is a challenge to visualize the situation in 3-D.
Mars is tiny now.
Very fine photos. Nice capture of earthshine. Getting pictures of the moon is very challenging. I hope you and Melanie are having a nice weekend.
Nice pics! It’s still kind of wild to me that we can see earthlight reflecting back at us from the Moon.
