Venus | Thinning Crescent | 14-Mar-2017

How I saw Venus last evening. Only about one week until inferior conjunction. After that, Venus appears in the morning sky as a thin crescent.

  1. Interesting that there is also a “superior conjunction”, now don’t ask me why the inferior planets pass behind the Sun from west to east, whilst the slower superior planets pass from east to west.
